Hello! Meet Marylena, the one who wears the many hats at this business!
Had anyone told her years ago that she would one day quit her Architectural Design job, and become a business owner in the wedding industry, she would laugh and say that it’s a crazy thought! But here we are…
It all started about 20 years ago, when Marylena started working for a local wedding shop where she was helping brides pick their wedding gowns, veils and accessories. Many years later, her relative asked for her help to sell her handmade veils. A year or so later, Marylena was heading her relative’s small veil business sales. With the rise of the online selling, the veil business made it’s way to Etsy, where it drew more and more customers, until in-person selling stopped, and it was done all online. Soon enough, the relative stopped being involved and Marylena was now running a business that needed an owner. She poured her heart into this new chapter and made changes to make it more her own: thus the embroidered designs got the front row. The uniqueness and luxurious feel to these veils have been the magnet to the clientele that wanted delicate pieces that don’t take away from the other bridal pieces.
Nowadays, the embroidery designs are ranging from small flowers, to large, and even to resemble lace. The quality work doesn’t go unnoticed and the veils are being purchased from all over the world.
